News from CATS – May 2019

  1. Congress 2019 – Final program
  2. The CATS Conference is only days away and the program has been finalized. If you want to join us, it’s not too late to register! You’ll find all the information about registration and accommodation on the Congress 2019 website.

We’re pleased to announce that the book draw traditionally held during the CATS banquet will return this year. The idea is that all those present will have a chance to win a book published over the course of the year and written by a CATS member. So if you wrote, co-wrote, edited or co-edited a book published between June 2018 and May 2019 and you have a copy to share, please bring it along to the banquet or contact us at info@act-cats.ca.

  3. Annual General Meeting
  4. As it does every year, CATS will be holding its AGM during the conference and all members in good standing are invited to attend. The relevant documents were sent to you recently.

  5. Update on renewals
  6. A large majority of our past members have renewed their membership for 2019-2020. If you haven’t yet done so, it’s not too late; you can renew online. If you have any questions, please contact info@act-cats.ca.

  7. TTR
  8. The special issue commemorating the journal’s 30th anniversary is about to be published. Congratulations to Aline Francoeur and to all contributors!

  9. Survey
  10. One-quarter of our members took part in the recent survey, and we thank you for your feedback. Most of you said you preferred receiving the emails as they came in, so we’ll continue sending them in that manner.

As for the other questions, the executive committee is working on concrete solutions and will keep you posted. If you have any suggestions or comments, don’t hesitate to contact us at info@act-cats.ca.
